‘Coalition’ is my reflection on human nature, where each face represents a piece of the intricate mosaic of existence. We wear masks, sometimes not entirely in harmony, and the art lies in the harmonious resonance of these diverse aspects.

The photograph delves into the theme of recent elections, becoming a mirror of society and its emotions. Just as in politics, where diversity is a crucial element, my image portrays four faces as different aspects of one entity. Reflections mirror the pluralism and complexity of human nature, simultaneously alluding to the multidimensional electoral process. In an ideal world, similar to a coalition of political parties, diversity would be a strength, and a common goal would unite us. However, the reality of politics appears as a distorted reflection, a cluster of empty words and futile gestures.

‘Coalition’ poses the question of whether our choices define us unequivocally, or if we are a mosaic of many faces, dependent on context and experiences. It’s like an alliance that should ideally coexist, but in reality, we grapple with deceit in the political theater. Ultimately, the light dims, and the illusory curtains fall, leaving us uncertain if internal coherence is possible in this political symphony of illusions and (quoting Marta Wróbel) a “chorus of faces that follow one another in the rhythm of the political carousel.”
